2011 Hallmark Lion King cub Simba talking plush

The plush Simba was available exclusively at Hallmark Stores in Canada. This is the only Lion King plush I have found in Canada since the re-release of the Lion King on blu-ray in 2011. Canada seems to be very lacking in Lion King merchandise this time around. I purchased this Simba at the Hallmark store in Oakridge Mall in Vancouver, BC Canada. I asked in the store if there were any other Lion King characters that Hallmark was making, the manager did not know.

This Simba says one of three different phrases when you push the little red button on his left paw. The three phrases Simba says: "I'm gonna be the best king ever", "I just can't wait to be king" and "I'm gonna rule it all". This Simba is 10" tall, 10" deep when sitting (excluding his 8½" tail) and is 7" wide. Hallmark also made some Lion King plush, a snowglobe and bookends back in 2003 when the Lion King was released on DVD then.
